Maria Hartrum is Nationally Board Certified (NCBTMB) and Licensed by the Oregon Board of Massage Therapists (#15961) providing massage therapy services in Lebanon, Oregon. Maria is also a Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA), Exercise Physiologist (ACSM), and Health Coach (ACE) plus maintains a CPR/AED Healthcare Provider certification.
As a Pre-Physical Therapy student, Maria earned a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education-Exercise Physiology and a Nutrition Minor from California State University, Chico. In addition, Maria earned a Massage Practitioner's Certification from Integrative Therapy School in Sacramento CA in 1990 and took courses from the Oregon School of Massage in 2009 to prepare for State Licensure. To date, over 1200 hours of continuing education courses including Pathology, Medical Massage, Exercise, and Nutrition have been taken.
After over 10-years of providing massage therapy and/or fitness training for Health & Fitness Clubs in Chico California (Chico Sports Club-8yrs, Stars Fitness For Women, Golds), Maria moved to her home town of Gilroy California and began Hartrum's Massage & Fitness in 1999. In 2008 Maria moved to Oregon and reopened the business after getting Licensed by Oregon November 17, 2009. To date, Maria has provided over 14,000 hours of massage therapy to many happy clients/patients.
